Hazard Statements

Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. No medical conditions are known to be aggravated by exposure to this product. FIRST AID: EYE CONTACT: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call the poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation persists, call a doctor. INGESTION: Drink a glassful of water. Call a doctor or poison control center. INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If breathing problems develop, call a doctor.

Precautionary Statements

Hygienic Practices: Wash hands after direct contact. Engineering Controls: Use general ventilation to minimize exposure to product mist. Personal Protective Equipment: Wear rubber or nitrile gloves if there is the potential for repeated or prolonged skin contact. In situations where adequate local exhaust is not available, a NIOSH-approved respirator is advised. When handling items soiled with blood or body fluids (as when decontaminating against HIV-1, HBV and HCV), use disposable impervious gloves, gowns, masks and eye coverings. Avoid contamination of food. A potable water rinse is required for surfaces that may come into contact with food. Not for cleaning or sanitizing skin.
